The IADH 2010 congress attracted more than 500 participants from over 40 countries who saw first hand how
the Diaco® Dental Chair transforms dental care.
The 20th congress of the International Association for Disability and Oral Health (IADH) took place in the historic city of Ghent, Belgium, August 25 - 28, 2010.
Steve Campbell, Co-founder of Diaco® and President of Diaco® Dental Inc., said: “This is the third time we have been a major partner at the congress since the inception of Diaco® and it was a great success. To have participants from such a wide variety of countries shows what an important role the IADH plays in their desire to improve the oral health and quality of life for persons with special needs.”
The theme of the 20th congress was Caring for Quality of Life. In a continuation of the theme “Limits and Limitations,” adopted for the congress in Santos 2008, the IADH believes it is the ultimate goal for professionals in special care dentistry to achieve the best possible quality of life for their patients.
Prof Luc Martens, IADH past president and chairman of the organising committee of IADH 2010, said: “The organisers of the 20th congress are deeply grateful to have Diaco® as one of their major partners. Your support helped us to make this world conference a great success on what was the 40th anniversary of the International Association of Disability and Oral Health.”
